The third in our ongoing and somewhat absurd digital releases.

A compilation for which not a single track exists. Yet.

Inverse Prompt has grown from the amount of demos and albums pitched to us for release. A reaction/motivation to the sheer lack of ideas, originality and inspiration usually contained within. Not naming names, not blaming blames. it is what it is, the world.

Basically the leverage of steam to crank this compilation into gear was catapulted from the appallingly predictable bland content of most of these offerings.

Sorry. It doesn’t. It’s yet again a predictable noodle with your chosen instrument then run through electronic sound fields which we have all encountered for decades now.

There’s nothing new about electronic music. At this stage it’s about as ‘new’ as a television set.

I’d personally watch the sound of a skunk licking a piece of bark than your latest audio-kunst.

Having said that, it's not like we want to be a grinchy grouch about things. Quite the opposite.

Inverse Prompt is exactly what it says. Here you see two visual prompts. These images are the food on which you feast prior to setting a path to break the vicious ambient/drone vortex we currently reside.

The two images are conceived as the front and back cover release for this compilation and those submissions that take these visual cues in the most endearing, entertaining and unique manner will be selected for the compilation.

Not synthesis being synthesis, again.

So that’s the guff. That’s the prompt.

Any track length accepted.

Final tracks should be 600MB maximum in lossless wav aif or flac format.
